Robert E. Seastrom

Robert E. "Bob" Seastrom, 78, of Punta Gorda passed away peacefully Sunday, February 5, 2012. Bob was born November 9, 1933 in Bridgeport, CT to Clifford and Elsie (Johnson) Seastrom. At an early age, Bob took an interest in cooking and would prepare supper for his two working parents. Bob attended Culinary Institute in New Haven, CT and worked as a waiter for the Spinning Wheel Inn in CT and a seasonal eatery in Sarasota in the 1950's. He took courses in accounting at the University of Bridgeport and was actively employed in all aspects of accounting at various companies in CT. In 1991 he moved to SW Florida with his best friend to enjoy life in Naples. Bob worked as a security guard for a few gated communities in Naples. Bob enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling with his friend. He will be remembered for his welcoming personality to those who met him. Bob will be greatly missed by his good friend and life partner, John. No services are planned at this time.
