Robert A. Miller, 69, of Punta Gorda passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 19, 2012. He was born May 30, 1942 in Rockville, CT to George A and Elizabeth A. (Reudgen) Miller. Robert graduated from Rockville High School class of 1960 and then joined the US Air Force for four years as a jet engine mechanic. He returned to Rockville area and enjoyed a 32 year career with Pratt and Whitney as an experimental engine manager. Robert and Patricia Mulligan moved to Punta Gorda in 2005 to enjoy sunny Florida. Robert will be greatly missed by his sons, Ross of Bangor ME and Mark (Melissa) of Yorktown, VA; grandchildren, Mikayla and Madalyn; companion, Patricia Mulligan of Punta Gorda; sister, Rayeanne (Bryant) Bourque of Hoschton, GA; brother, Thomas (Cecile) of Coventry, CT along with his constant doggie companion Reggie, who misses him very much. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Heritage Lake Park, 25365 Rampart Blvd, Deep Creek with a reception to follow. Your dogs are most welcome.
