Robert A King

Robert A. King, 89, of Port Charlotte, formerly of Willow Springs, IL passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012. He was the son of Chester and Dora (Smith) King, born on January 18, 1923 in Cutler, IL. Robert proudly served our Country during World War II as a Merchant Marine. He worked as a Mosquito Control Foreman in Lyons, IL and retired to Port Charlotte in 1985. Robert will be greatly missed by his wife of 65 years, Dolores; Sons, Robert (Joyce) King and Don King. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. The family will receive friends for 1:00 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with the service in celebration of Robert's life beginning at 2:00 pm.
