Rickie T. Yeary

Rickie T. Yeary, 57, of Port Charlotte passed away September 7, 2012. He was the son of James and Shirley (Sprague) Yeary, born January 7, 1955 in Walton, NY. Rickie moved to Port Charlotte from New York in November of 1988; he was a parts consultant for Crest Cadillac for 18 years. Rickie loved riding his motorcycle, and enjoyed spending time at the Venice jetty. His interests were varied and he enjoyed spending time on his John Deere tractor and shopping at Home Depot. Rickie also was a big fan of Clint Eastwood and loved eating ice cream. He and his wife, Frances, knew each other all their lives; they were married for 34 years. Rickie will be remembered as a simple man with a big heart who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need; he also enjoyed his quiet time. Rickie will be greatly missed by his wife, Frances; mother, Shirley Yeary; daughter, Erika (George) Gamaldi; son, Rick F.
