Richard W. Blauss, Jr.

Richard W. Blauss, Jr., 62, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on December 10, 2019. He was born on April 7, 1957, to Richard Sr. and Doris Blauss in Brockton, MA. Richard moved to Port Charlotte in July of 2014 from Coconut Creek, FL after retiring in 1999.
Richard was known for his outgoing, goofy personality. He always wore a smile upon his face and did his best to share his joy with others. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his grandchildren near the water. Richard was of the Christian faith and was very proud of being a member of AA for over 30 years.
Richard will be deeply missed by his wife of 33 years, Susan; sons Richard III (Vi), Matthew (Cassie) and Jeremy; stepdaughter Kristin (Josh); stepson Kevin (Kat); sisters Donna Violi, Patricia Corthell, Linda Lonergan, and Kim Dimond; and 3 grandchildren, Brody, Evan, and Sofia. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Yvonne and brother William.
