Richard Vosseler Morgan

Richard Vosseler Morgan, 70, of Punta Gorda passed away November 8, 2007. He was born November 21, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas and Ruth (Vosseler) Morgan. Richard served in the US Army Reserves, Fire Brigade. He retired from Computer Sales and moved from West Bloomfield, MI in 2001 to Punta Gorda. Richard was a member of the Punta Gorda Elks, St. Andrews South Golf Club, Platinum Point Yacht Club, PSI Upsilon Fraternity and Power Squadron. He was a loyal friend to all, and loving companion to his wife, Patty. Richard will be greatly missed by his daughter, Christine Taylor Morgan of Punta Gorda; sons, Scott (Kerry) Boone of West Bloomfield, MI, Greg (Edylyn) Boone of Phoenix, AZ and John (Jennifer) Boone of West Bloomfield, MI; brother Thomas Morgan and companion Ralph Jones of Birmingham, MI; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Patty. A celebration of Richard’s life will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Burnt Store Presbyterian Church with Rev.
