Richard E. Vallee

Richard E. Vallee, 89, of Lake Suzy, FL went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2015. He was born March 28, 1926 in Akron, OH. Richard served in the US Army during WWII in Germany with the 78th Infantry Division. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 38 years of service. Richard moved from Akron, OH to Lake Suzy in 1988. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, former member of the Akron Baptist Temple and member of New Day Christian Church. Richard will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 68 years, Hazel; daughter, Diana (Al) Hoffman; grandchildren, Michelle, Kevin, Stacey, Lynsey, Derrick and Kyle; 18 great-grandchildren and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary. Services were held at Lake Suzy, FL. Burial will be private at East Liberty Cemetery, Green, OH.
