He had numerous nieces and nephews who were all special to him. Ray Samol of Tracy, CA is his namesake. He was especially influential in the life of his great great nephew, Andrew Thompson of Greeneville, TN. There are cousins, too numerous to mention by name, each and every one very special. Ray was preceded in death by his Father, Ray M. Whitt, Sr.; Mother, Maurine Gray Whitt; brother, James A. Whitt and two of his children, Christopher Allen Whitt, Sr. and Margo Rae Whitt Ruzicka.
