Ralph C. Worley

Ralph C. Worley, 58, of Punta Gorda passed away December 13, 2007. He was born August 19, 1949 in Moultrie, GA to William and Nora (Milan) Worley. Ralph has been a resident since 1960 and attended Sallie Jones and Charlotte High School. He enlisted in the US Army in 1967 and served 2 years in Vietnam including Germany, France and then returning to Fort Benning, GA. Ralph worked for Do-All Rental as a computer operator and shop help until 1997 when he moved to Flintville, TN to be closer to his brother and returned in June 2007 to be with his sister and family. Ralph attended Trinity Baptist Church in Punta Gorda when possible and will be remember for being a fighter to the end. Ralph will be greatly missed by all including his daughter, Shaila Worley of Denver, CO; sister, Shirley A. (Dennis) Dees of Punta Gorda; brothers Billy (Evelyn) Worley of Murphy, NC and Alford (Janet) Worley of Flintville, TN; granddaughters, Rhen, Skye and Kayla and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Oley and Walter Worley and sister, Lura Dorman. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
