Raeola G. Davis

Raeola G. Davis, 86, of Port Charlotte passed away Friday, September 30, 2011. She was the daughter of Norman and Florence (Garber) Brant, born on March 9, 1925 in Goshen, IN. Raeola was an Environmental Tech for Fawcett Hospital before retiring. She and her husband, Chester were members of Good Sam�s RV Club and the Hi-Lo Club and enjoyed traveling across the United States. Raeola attended First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Pamela Foley of Arcadia; son, Ronald (Joan) Davis of Port Charlotte; sister, Sharon Hunt of Port Charlotte; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; along with her constant 4 legged companion, Teko. Raeola was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 63 years, Chester A. Davis, Jr and sister, Ardus Mansfield. A visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 4, 2011 with a service to celebrate Raeola�s life to follow at 11:00 am at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
