Phyllis (Tremblay) White, 82, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Monday, April 22, 2013. She was the daughter of Donald and Julia (Chausse) Campbell, born November 27, 1930 in Lockport, New York. Phyllis graduated from Lockport High School and worked at NY Bell Telephone in her twenties. Phyllis loved all four-legged companions, all kinds of music, and especially enjoyed playing her piano and organ. Her other pastimes included President of Niagara County Home Bureau, and golfing at Lockport Town & Country Club during her "Lockport Days." Upon retiring to Florida, they bought a boat, named it "Ma's piano" and took up fishing. She will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Charles I. White; daughters, Denise (James Stuckey) Barnett-Stuckey; Darcy Tremblay and Donna (Charles) Maisch; grandchildren, Dianna (Terry) Charles, Jillian Barnett, John (Donielle) Downey, Jason (Millie) Downey, Allison Downey and Shelby Steblein; great-grandchildren, Alex Warren, Joshua Charles, Gabriella Charles, Adryanah Hines, Milana Downey and Jolen Downey; step-daughters; Maymie (Bob Warren) King and Margaret (Jack) Hall; step-daughter-in-law, Kay White; 9 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren, and her furry children; Rascal, Duchess, Tootsie, Gigi, Panzee, Sadie, Spike, Sammie, Precious, Chuchu and Possie. Phyllis was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald P. Tremblay; step-sons, John White and Joseph White. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm, Wednesday, April 24, 2013 with a service to celebrate Phyllis' life at 6:30 pm at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
