Peter Sorci

Peter Sorci, 77, of Punta Gorda passed away July 18, 2006. He was born July 26, 1928 in Chicago, ILL to Salvatore and Magdallena (Mineo) Sorci. Peter worked as an operating engineer for the Local #150 in Chicago for 45 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Punta Gorda, Midwest Operating Engineers Local #150 and Loyal Order of Moose #2121 in Pt. Charlotte. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 24 years, Mary Ann; step-daughters Karen Albert and Linda (Mike) McDonald both of Rimrock, AZ; sons Sam (Nancy) of Frankfort, IL and Peter (Nora) of Crown Pint, IN; step-son of Patrick (Susan) Harte of Chicago, IL; grandchildren Tony, Tessa and Jenna; great-grandchild Camden; step-grandchild Billy, Toni and Tina. The family will receive friends 12:00 - 2:00 pm, Friday, July 21 at Punta Gorda of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with a service to follow at 2:00 pm.
