Peter Carl Dooley

Peter Carl Dooley, 71, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away September 29, 2015. He was the son of Thomas and Mary Dooley, born August 12, 1944 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Peter graduated Class of 63 from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Fort Lauderdale and earned his degree from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton. He served in the United States Army. Peter retired after 30 years from the Department of Human Services with the State of Florida. Peter will be greatly missed by his sister, Josie Bowman; nephews, Tod, Mark and Andrew Bowman of Punta Gorda, FL Tim Dooley of Cape Coral, FL and Michael Dooley of Little Rock, Ark; nieces, Patty Dooley of Minneapolis, MN and Katy Dooley of Austin, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tim Dooley. A private service will be held.
