Peggy Ann Hurley, 61, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away November 27, 2015. She was the daughter of Robert and Margaret Hayes, born October 3, 1954 in Cherry Point, N.C. Peggy was a mother; she loved her children and family without end. Her happiest times were spent out on a softball field or cheering on her children from the bleachers. She was a coach, teacher, loving friend, an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and wife. Peggy was the heart of her family and will be missed by so many. She enjoyed fishing, softball, tennis, traveling and camping. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 38 years, John Joseph Hurley; daughter, Ashley Elizabeth; sons, John Robert, Aaron Patrick, Jacob Raymond and Brandon Joseph; brother, Robert; sisters, Edith and Donna Lee; sister at heart, Jamie; grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Juliet, Benjamin, Luke and Adalyn. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A service to celebrate Peggy's life will start at 12pm, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Friendship United Methodist Church, Punta Gorda.
