Pearleene S. McDonald, 75, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Queens, New York passed away February 4, 2018. She was born October 28, 1942 in Jamaica to Clifton Bingham and Imogene Stewart. Pearleene worked as a CNA at the Jewish Home and Hospital in New York. In 2007 she retired and moved to Florida, where she worked at South Port Square in Port Charlotte. Pearleene was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte. Pearleene was a loving kind mother, grandmother, who enjoyed taking care of her family, friends and neighbors. She will be remembered for always putting others first before herself. Pearleene will be greatly missed by her daughters, Dahlia and Marcia; son, Phillip; brothers, Tony, Dalton, Norbert, Weston and Errol; sisters, Janet, Elmira, Cardell and Irna; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11am, Friday, February 16, 2018 with a celebration of Pearleene's life to follow at 11am at First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
