Pauline L. Imhoff-Chapman, 83, of Easley, SC and Punta Gorda, FL, passed away on February 27, 2022. She was born on October 17, 1938, to William and Ruth Kingrey in Huntington, West Virginia. Pauline worked for AT&T, retiring as a supervisor in 1994 after 33 years of service.
Polly was an avid golfer who won several Ladies Club Championships throughout the years. She loved to travel, especially to locations with lighthouses. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards with friends, and shopping at yard sales and resale shops. She was a Wheel of Fortune guru. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Pauline will be deeply missed by her husband Jack Chapman; daughter Linda Koons of Allentown, PA; sons James Imhoff of Venice, FL, Jack Imhoff of Powder Springs, GA, and Gary Imhoff of Venice, FL; brother Jack Kingrey; sister Theresa Allison; 8 grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Kingrey.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Pauline’s name to Tidewell Hospice or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
