Paul Edward Pettibone, Jr.

Paul E. Pettibone, Jr., 56, of Sarasota, FL passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Tidewell Hospice Sarasota House following a courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of Paul E. Pettibone, Sr. and late Mary Jane (Slaughter) Pettibone. He was on born July 31, 1956 in Nashville, TN and was raised in Nashville, and lived there until 3 years ago. Paul started working as teen until adulthood in the lumber and hardware business. He accepted the Lord at age 12 and was a member of Brentwood Baptist Church, Brentwood, TN. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Lisa (Elliott) Webb of Nashville, TN and Rachel (Derek) Lyles of Wichita, KS; son, Austin Pettibone of Louisville, KY; sister, Linda Stone of Nashville, TN; step-sisters, Martha (Everett) McKeown of Orlando, FL, Leigh Anne (Philip) Goldstine of Knoxville, TN; father and step-mother, Paul and Marietta Pettibone of Port Charlotte, FL; ex-wife, Debra Pettibone of Louisville, KY; grandson, Eli Webb, one niece and four nephews.
