Patricia D. Wessel

Patricia D. Wessel, 76, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013. She was the daughter of Harold and Doris (nee Pierce) Gardener, born October 8, 1936 in Albany, New York. Patricia worked for few places including Grumman Aviation and as a school bus driver. In 1980 Patricia and her husband moved from Port Jefferson Station, New York to Port Charlotte, where they became business partners with Carol and John Munro at Port Charlotte Hardware and Paint. She was a member of Cleveland Baptist Church. Patricia will be remembered for her great since of humor and outlook on life. Patricia will be greatly missed by her husband of 55 years, Herman "Wes"; daughter, Tina (Keith); son, Michael; sisters, Barbara (Frank) and Lorraine and granddaughter, Nicole and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frederick. A visitation will be 6 - 7 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Cleveland Baptist Church with a service to celebrate Patricia's life at 7:00 pm. Burial will be at Sarasota National Cemetery.
