Patricia Beatrice Willet

Patricia Beatrice Evensen Willet, 77, went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2007. She was born March 27, 1930 in Ishpeming, MI, the daughter of Even and Arnabelle (Johnson) Evensen. Pat spent her life serving others as an LPN for more than 30 years; over 25 of those years were at Bon Secours St. Joseph Hospital in Port Charlotte. She was a Christian and was a member of First Christian Church of Port Charlotte before moving to West Georgia. Pat loved the Lord, working in the yard and admiring the wonders of His work, visiting with friends and family, and taking care of others. Pat will be greatly missed by her children, Jeanne (Dennis) Portello, Frank (Deidre) Willet, Jim Willet, and Kelly Tooker; grandchildren, Susan Whitecotton, Tina Craig, Heather Podner, Patty Tooker, Brett Podner, Dennis Portello, and Joe Portello. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Willet. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held Monday, July 9 at 6:00 pm at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
