Patricia A. Meade

Patricia A. Meade, 73, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on April 7, 2022. She was born April 10, 1948, to John and Irene House in Amherst, OH. Patricia was a graduate of Clearview High School, working in management until her retirement in 2000 when she relocated to Florida from Lorain, OH.

Patricia was an active member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion, VFW, and AMVETs. She enjoyed caring for her orchids and loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren tremendously.

Patricia will be deeply missed by daughter Lynn (Ronald) Meade-Naile; son Ronald Meade Jr.; sisters Carol (James) Meade, Betty Cromwell, and Sandra Gum; grandchildren Brittaney, Joshua, Amber, Emily, and Olivia; and great-granddaughters Kaydence and Margaret. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 56 years, Ronald Meade; daughters Lesa Moffett and Laury Miller; brother John House Jr.; and brother-in-law Max Gum.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion in Punta Gorda, FL on April 16, 2022, at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations in Patricia’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.
