Oliver A Kirkwood, Jr

Oliver A. Kirkwood, Jr., 69, of Punta Gorda passed away July 24, 2010. He was born June 26, 1941 in Jamaica to Iris (Chisholm) and Oliver Kirkwood, Sr. Oliver was a retired merchant seaman and moved to this area from Baton Rouge, LA in 1985. He enjoyed going fishing and boating. Oliver will be greatly missed by his wife of 49 years, Myrtle; daughter, Olivia Kirkwood Ricard of Punta Gorda; sister, Amelia Newman of Baton Rouge, LA and two grandchildren.
