Norman Hall, age 89 passed peacefully at his residence in Punta Gorda on December 16th, 2022.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1933, he lived in many states before graduating from Phoenix High in Phoenix, Arizona in 1951. He graduated Miami University in 1955. He married Carolyn Engel in 1955. He started working in the banking industry in Cleveland, Ohio in 1956. He worked for Union Commerce Bank (then Huntington Bank) and eventually settled in Shaker Heights, Ohio. While working as a banker, he attended Rutgers obtaining an MBA and then served as an adjunct instructor at the Stonier School of Banking. He finished his career working for the Resolution Trust Corporation from 1990 to 1995 before retiring to Punta Gorda, FL in 1996.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years Carolyn Hall, sister Pamela Pease (James) daughters Patricia Hall, Kathleen Pappa (John) and son Dennis Hall. Also, five grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be at Good Shepard Episcopal Church in Punta Gorda, January 14th at 11:00am.
