Norman E. Bentley

Norman E. Bentley, 82, of Punta Gorda passed away Monday, Mar. 11, 2013. He was the son of George and Gwendolyn (nee Egert) Bentley, born October 31, 1930 in Washington, DC. Norman was a retired from the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of the Shriner's and like to restore Air Streams. Norman enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening, traveling, photography, antique collecting, and gourmet cooking for family and friends. He is survived by his two daughters; five grandchildren and multi-great-grandchildren. Norman was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Sturgis, MI. Memorial donation may be made to the Shriner's. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
