Nick R. Laguardia

Nick R. LaGuardia, 90, of Port Charlotte passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011. He was born January 25, 1921 in Pittsburgh, PA to Angelo and Amelia (Berdicana) LaGuardia. Nick served in the US Army during WWII. He worked for the US Post Office as a Special Delivery Service Worker for 30 years and moved from Pittsburgh, PA to this area in 1984. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, fishing and boating. Nick will be greatly missed by his children, Amelia Will, Janice Nelms and Nick LaGuardia, Jr and 6 grandchildren. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 pm, Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with a service to follow at 3:00 pm. Burial will be at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 1:15pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, P.O.
