Nelson A. Karter

Nelson A. Karter, 71, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019. He was the son of Leonard Karter and Sylvia Weinstein, born May 9, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY. Nelson was a retired salesman and moved to the area in 2002 from Seymour, CT. He enjoyed golf, fishing, baseball and was an avid collector. Nelson will be greatly missed by his daughter, Rachel Rosenblum of Boston, MA; son, Ben Karter and wife Katie of Shrewsbury, MA; sister, Robin Paolillo of Port Charlotte, FL; as well as his grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb and Hannah. He is preceded in death by his wife Nualchawee Pukie Karter. A graveside service will be held March 25, 2019 at 4:30pm at Charlotte Memorial Gardens with Rabbi Jonathan Katz in Punta Gorda, FL.
