Natalie Earl Humphrey Brown, 100, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Springfield and Short Hills, NJ passed away May 17, 2015 at Harbour Terr, Port Charlotte, FL. Natalie was the daughter of Elmer and Estelle Earl, born February 20, 1915 in Orange, NJ. She graduated from St. Barnabas School of Nursing, Newark, NJ and worked over thirty years at Summit Medical Group in Summit, NJ. Natalie married Ward Humphrey on September 13, 1941 in Maplewood, NJ. She married Sam Brown on January 7, 1980 in Springfield, NJ and moved to Florida in 1982. Natalie loved to travel, play golf and dance. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Carol Johannsen of Springfield, NJ; son, Richard and daughter in law, Carol Humphrey of Sunset Beach, NC; grandchildren, Alecia (David) Wartowski, of Evanston, IL, Stephen (Tory) Humphrey of Port Matilda, PA and Christine (Jim) Reichart of Macungie, PA; great-grandchildren, Annika, Clara and Jackson Wartowski, Gavin and Gillian Humphrey and Will and Abby Reichart; niece, Alison Smith of Port Charlotte and several other nieces and nephews; step-children, Don and Dot Brown of Denton, TX and Joan and John Winston of Charlottesville, VA. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ward Humphrey on Jan. 7, 1979 and Sam Brown died on Dec. 6, 1993; parents and brothers, Elmer and Edward Earl.
