Naomi Slosberg

Naomi Slosberg, 72, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014. She was the daughter of Jack and Rose (nee Byer) Frishberg, born on June 22, 1941 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Naomi graduated from Brooklyn College while working as an office manager for an Orthopedic Surgeon. She and her husband moved to Staten Island, NY where she started and ran a wholesale Fund Raising business for schools and various organizations and also ran a small retail department store at the same location. Naomi was a member of Ahavath Israel in Staten Island, NY and served as a past Vice President and Board Member. She was most recently a member of Chabad of Charlotte County. Naomi enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, boating, fishing and attending local cultural and entertainment events. She raised a family and is survived by her husband, Barry; son, Lewis; daughter, Lyn; granddaughter, Leah; and brother, Kenneth Frishberg. A service was held in Punta Gorda. Burial was at Venice Memorial Gardens, Venice. Memorial donations may be made to Chabad of Charlotte County, 204 East McKenzie Street, Unit B, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
