Nancy Sue Bertram

It is with great sadness that the family of Nancy Sue Bertram of Port Charlotte, FL and formerly from Bethlehem Township, Hunterdon county, New Jersey announces her death at Fawcett Memorial Hospital on December 31, 2018. Family members were present when she lost her heroic battle with cancer. She was born Feb. 6, 1945, to her parents George and Edna Felski, in Milwaukee, WI. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth and her loving sister, Joan. Also, a son, Keith (Beverly) and three step children, Anne, Catherine (Linwood) and Gregory. She also had five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, an Aunt, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Nancy enlisted into the US Army and served her Country as a Dental Assistant. Nancy did have a mid-life crisis. Having worked as a Unit Secretary in a hospital, she realized another calling besides a mother. To that end she received her license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey on August 15, 1989 at the age of 44. She made many lasting friendships in the nursing and medical profession. After her retirement, she wanted to stay in Port Charlotte. She enjoyed boating, fishing and traveling. A celebration of Life will be held at a future date in New Jersey/Pennsylvania area.
