Nancy M. Schaum

Nancy May Owens Schaum, 57, of Punta Gorda, FL beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and best friend suddenly left us on December 5, 2011. She was born December 30, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. Nancy grew up in Charlotte County and graduated from Charlotte High in 1972. She worked at Barnett Bank, then Florida Central Credit Union, Nationwide Insurance and recently Badcock Home Furniture and More. Nancy will be remembered for her humor, friendship, cheerful personality and was a wonderful person. Nancy will be greatly missed by her daughters, Stacey (Travis) Dugan and Ashley Schaum along with her precious grandchildren, Braydon, Brelle, and Emma; sister, Cindy (Walter) Bolyard; brothers, John, Michael (Betty) Owens; four nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Louise Owens and husband, Gary. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Cleveland United Methodist Church, 28038 Cleveland Ave, Punta Gorda.
