Monserrate Pierce

Monserrate Pierce, 80, of Port Charlotte passed away August 4, 2008. She was born April 8, 1928 in Puerto Rico. Monserrate was a retired administrative assistant for the Department of Agriculture and moved from Ocean Pines, Maryland in 2004 to Port Charlotte. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Monserrate enjoyed embroidery and sewing. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 57 years, John; daughter Annette (Rolando) Ramirez of Rodondo Beach, CA; son, Tim Pierce of Boulder City, NV; sister, Antonia Zapata of Port Charlotte, FL; four grandchildren. A memorial service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services Punta Gorda.
