Mirosław Kwasnik

Mirosław Kwasnik, of Port Charlotte FL, passed away on the 27th of July 2022. He was born on the 9th of October 1950 to Katarzyna and Albin Kwasnik in Dedelsdorf, Germany. He immigrated to Massachusetts in October 1958 with his parents, brother Franciszek and sisters Helene and Eleanor Teresa.

To his friends and family, he was lovingly called Kwas. He loved collecting various seeds and growing plants, birdwatching, and tinkering. He would take things apart just to see how they worked and put them back together again. Kwas could fix anything. He was an animal lover, avid learner, investigator, and discoverer of all new things. He had a quick sense of humor with an infectious laugh and loved a mischievous practical joke.

Kwas served for 20 years in the US Air Force as an independent duty medical technician and upon his retirement, he served the state of FL for 20 years with the Department of Corrections.

Kwas loved his family more than anything and is survived by his wife (Nancy) of 39 years, his daughters, brother, sister, and many nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.

A private graveside service will be held by his family at a later date.
