If you ever had to ask “Why” and wish for one more day! Then you know the pain that the family and friends feel for their lost. Millie was a Legendary Social Angel who blessed the hearts and lives of everyone she met. Millie was a beautiful woman whose smile it up the room and with her free-spirited wealth of hope and faith allowed people to put on the rose colored glasses and live life to the fullest. So if you are reading this remember, Dream...as if you will live forever. Live as if you only have today. Time is more valuable than anything, cherish and hug your loved ones. Before you are asking “Why” and wishing for another day! We will miss our mom so much. As sisters we hold the faith that she is with us and with her love and guidance we will continue our journey unitl we are together again. Those who loved Millie, remember that if you just whisper her name in your heart...she will be there. Her love that’s deep within shall reach from the stars and heaven above, to heal your scars. Millie will be greatly missed by her daughters, Nicole Desrosiers and Michelle Gwinn; grandchildren, Becca, Presley, Gage, Rhiannon, and Cheyenne; mother, Dora Hoff; brothers, Perry (Joanie), Terry, Jerry, and Herbie Hoff; sisters, Trudy (Bobby) Douglas, and Alice Crider; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2010 at Cleveland United Methodist Church on Cleveland Drive in Punta Gorda. The service follows promptly at 4:00 pm. A remembrance dinner will follow in the fellowship hall at the church. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
