Matthew O'Brien

Matthew O’Brien, 29, of Punta Gorda passed away March 24, 2006 at his home. He was born March 20, 1977 in South Michigan. Matt graduated from Charlotte High School. He had a quick wit, charming smile and endearing personality that won friendships and his kind and caring heart which kept friendships. Matt will be greatly missed by his mother Eileen Forschner; sister Tracy Blumberg; brother Jeremy O’Brien; nephew MacKenzie Braden; fiancee Meghan Stevans; step-father Donald Wank. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas W. O’Brien. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 28 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial service in celebration of Matthew’s life will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 29 at First United Methodist Church.
