Maryjane Baxter

Maryjane Baxter, 66, of Port Charlotte passed away December 25, 2010. She was born January 20, 1944 in Union City, New Jersey. Maryjane was a elementary teacher from the NYC Public School System before retiring and moving from Staten Island, NY in 2004. She was a former member of Marble Collegiate Church, Manhattan, NY and attended 1st United Methodist Church in Punta Gorda. Maryjane enjoyed volunteering at Bargain Boutique at church and Habitat for Humanity. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 12 years, Robert; grandniece, Nicole; and nephews, Kenneth Dixson and Thomas Dixson all of NJ; along with many friends. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, Punta Gorda. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
