Mary Ellen Powell

Mary Ellen Powell, 73, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Feb. 25, 2018. She was born July 10, 1944 to John and Mildred Baum. Mary Ellen was a Manager for Medical Office in Cincinnati, OH. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Punta Gorda and the Elks. She enjoyed riding her bike and baking. Mary Ellen will be greatly missed by her daughter, Kathy; son, Mike; brothers, Tom (Rose) Kaufman, TX, Bud (Mary) Warminster, PA, Tony of Lake Wales, FL, Milt (Bev) and Nick (Pat) both of Cincinnati, OH; sisters, Jacqueline Baum O.P. of Columbus, OH and Kathy Keely of Ft. Myers, FL; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim; son, James; and brother, Ron. A service to celebrate Mary Ellen's life will be held at 2 pm, Tues. March 6, 2018 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society Relay of Life in her memory.
