Mary E. Surdukowski

Mary E. Surdukowski, 78, of Punta Gorda passed away March 17, 2008. She was born September 30, 1929 in Queens, New York to Thomas and Margaret (Snyder) Gannon. Mary retired from East Nassau Medical in New York and moved to Punta Gorda in 1972 from New York. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Moose and the Elks. Mary was a member of Peace River Baptist Church and she enjoyed playing Bingo, Fishing, reading and singing. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Barbara Sullivan of Punta Gorda and Rozanna (Richard) Naso of Long Island, New York; son Earl (Teresa) Trawick of Huntington, WV; stepsons, Richard (Lynn) of Maryland, Robert of Long Island, NY, James (Leigh) of Virginia, Michael of New York and Thomas (Denise) Surdukowski of Delaware; step-daughter, Joan (Joe) Abbate of Connecticut; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A Gathering of family and friends will at 6:30 to 7:00 pm with a celebration of Mary's life to follow at 7:00 pm at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Tom Hughes officiating.
