Marion Francis "Fran" Glasco, Jr., 74, of Arcadia, formerly of Arkansas, graduated to heaven on Friday, April 23, 2010. He was the son of Marion and Lawrence (Mooneyham) Glasco, born July 13, 1935 in Marked Tree, AR. Fran proudly served in the US Air Force for nine years and served two terms as Mayor of Crawfordsville, AR. Fran married Shirley Ann Eubanks on February 8, 1956 in Memphis, TN. He worked for Coleman Taylor in Memphis for 27 years and moved with Shirley to the Fort Ogden & Sunnybreeze community in 2002 to enjoy their retirement. Fran was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Fort Ogden. He will be greatly missed by his best friend and soul mate, Shirley Ann (Eubanks) Glasco; son, Marion F.(Denise) Glasco, III of Marion, AR; daughters, Cynthia (Mike) Pufahl of Crawfordsville, AR and Cassandra (Ron) Trower of North Port, FL; grandsons, Barry Fleming of Lake Charles, LA, Matthew (Julie) Glasco of Enid, OK, Bradley Glasco of Hattisburg, MI, Paul (Deanna) Pufahl of San Diego, CA and Patrick Pufahl of Crawfordsville, AR; granddaughters, Jessica Austin of Lake Charles, LA and Brandy Trower of North Port; great-grandchildren, Makaila and Malikai Pufahl of San Diego, CA; sisters, Betty Moore of Orlando, FL and Nancy (Ed) Chartlon of Perryville, AR and many nieces and nephews. Fran was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Wilma Moore and Ruth Holliman and brother, Dewey Rodman. A memorial service was held at First Baptist Church of Fort Ogden on April 26, 2010.
