Marion A. Pope

Marion A. Pope, 94, of Punta Gorda passed away January 27, 2017. She was the daughter of Emil and Alice Anderson, born August 1, 1922 in Tamarack, MN. Marion was a Chief Stewardess for Western Airlines in Denver, CO before her marriage to Lee Pope. She came to Punta Gorda after her retirement in 1978, and was a very active volunteer with the Isles Girls. Marion was also an avid golfer and enjoyed making many close friends at St. Andrews. She will be remembered as a sweet woman, beloved by her many friends and neighbors. Marion will be greatly missed by her brother, Ward Mickelson; step-daughter, Ann Smith; and many friends.
