Mario A. Paradiso

Mario A. Paradiso, 85, of Port Charlotte passed away Monday, October 17, 2011. He was the son of Peter and Gaetana (Potenza) Paradiso, born June 6, 1926 in Waverly, PA. Mario served in the US Army during WWII. He was a former owner/operator of a chicken farm and restaurants Eskimo King, Ice Cream & Restaurant until his retirement. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Rosemary (McGovern) Paradiso; daughters, Rita Falaguerra, Barbara Pray of both of E. Providence, RI, and Ruth Paradiso of Port Charlotte, FL; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Nick Paradiso, Mike Paradiso, Frank Paradiso; sisters, Antonetta Troiano and Suzanne Joy. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Palmerri, Lucy Arnold and Anna Paradiso. A visitation will be 9:00 - 10:00am, Mon. October 24, 2011 at Community Life Center with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Sarasota National Cemetery.
