Marilyn M. Bunner

Marilyn M. Bunner, 62, of Punta Gorda, formerly of Elkton, Maryland passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. She was the daughter of Spencer and Ruth (nee Wood) Eckels, born on June 24, 1950 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Marilyn retired in 2003 from Westvaco Paper Company in Newark, Delaware after 25 years. She was a member of the Burnt Store Isles Association, Burnt Store Boat Club, belonged to the Elks and volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Marilyn was a member of the Bowmansdale, Pennsylvania Church of God. She enjoyed reading, golfing, shopping with family and friends but her greatest joy was boating and traveling with her husband. Marilyn will be greatly missed by her husband of 39 years, Ron; brother, Robert (Shirley) Hosler; cousin, JoAnn Willis; nephew and nieces, Dennis, Barbara and Nancy along with her four-legged companion, P.J.; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial service in Mechanicsburg, Pennyslvania will be held at a later date.
