Marian L. Killingbeck, 90, of Oscoda, Michigan, passed away April 25, 2017 at her home in Punta Gorda, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Charles "Chuck" Killingbeck of Oscoda, Michigan and her sister, Betty Rogers of Prudenville, Michigan. Marian and Chuck were long-time residents of Oscoda and were among the first members of Lakewood Shores Country Club where she continued to play for nearly fifty years making many wonderful friends. They were also longtime members of the Oscoda Yacht Club. After retirement, they built a winter home in Marathon, Florida where they enjoyed 13 years with family and friends, fishing and boating in the beautiful Florida Keys. Having fished from a young age, it was well known, that Marian was "The Fisherman" in the family. In 1999, they moved their winter home to Punta Gorda, Florida, where they were members of the Punta Gorda Golf Club and later, the Port Charlotte Golf Club. She will be greatly missed by her children, Valarie (Ronald) Grimwood, Dennis (Carlene) Avery, Shari (Gary) McCallister, Charlesette (Samuel) Johnston, Charles (Linda) Killingbeck II, Bruce (Anne) Killingbeck; 17 grand-children; 24 great-grand children, and many longtime friends.
