Marguerite A. Jones

Marguerite A. Jones, 57, of Punta Gorda passed away June 2, 2006 at TideWell Hospice of Port Charlotte. She was the daughter of Joseph and Lucille Caputo, born December 20, 1948 in New York, NY. Marguerite came to Punta Gorda from Hopewell Junction, NY in 1994 and has owned Eagle Fire Sprinklers, Inc along with her husband since 1996. She was an avid New York Yankees fan, and enjoyed traveling around the world, boating, snorkeling, and taking trips to the beach. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandson, Logan. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Marguerite will be greatly missed by her husband of 39 years, Richard; daughters, Lynn Jones of Staten Island, NY and Lisa (Joseph) Garcia of Port Charlotte; grandson, Logan Garcia of Port Charlotte; brother, Joseph Caputo of Staten Island, NY; niece, Christine Caputo of Staten Island, NY, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. The service in celebration of Marguerite’s life will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 6 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
