Margaret E. Burwell

Margaret Burwell, 88, of Port Charlotte passed away February 28, 2006. She was the daughter of James and Carrie (Empy) Plank, born March 14, 1917 in Peoria. Margaret married Russell Wolstenholm in 1940. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, and was very active in the Foster Grandparents Program for many years, last working at Robert Jameison School. Margaret will be greatly missed by her daughter, Joan Rogers of Port Charlotte with whom she made her home; and grandchildren, Angie Rogers of Port Charlotte and Doug Rogers of St. Cloud, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 1968; also by one son, two sisters, and one brother. Cremation was accorded. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria with the Rev. Donaldson officiating.
