Mae Minch, 102, of Punta Gorda, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006. She was born October 12, 1903 in Newark, New Jersey to Christopher and Florence (Brown) Johnson, she had been a resident of Punta Gorda since 1988. Mrs. Minch attended The Congregational United Church of Christ and the Burnt Store Presbyterian. She was also a 72-year member of Sharon Chapter #29, The Order of the Eastern Star in Union, N.J. Mae will be greatly missed by her daughters, Marion Taylor and Janet Muller of Punta Gorda, Florida, her three grandsons, Steven Taylor of New Port Richey, Florida, Mark Taylor (Judy) of Port Richey, Florida and Craig Muller (Jan) of Nashville, Tennessee, and five great-grandchildren, Harrison, Stephanie, Danielle and Keith Taylor and Bobby Muller and two step-great grandchildren, Jaclyn and Nicholas Cafaro. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael, one brother, five sisters, and her grandson, Scott Muller. Family will receive friends 7:00 - 8:00 pm, Saturday, March 11 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A celebration of Mae’s life will be at 2pm, Sunday, March 12 at Burnt Store Presbyterian Church on Burnt Store Road. Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth, New Jersey.
