Lynda S. Brandon

Lynda S. Brandon, 57, of Port Charlotte lost her fight with cancer on May 17, 2008. She was born December 15, 1950 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Joseph and Emily (Broz) Kochur. Lynda had been a master cosmetologist and worked as a certified nursing assistant in home health for many years. She enjoyed spending time out doors; she was outgoing and never met a stranger. Lynda will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who put her family first. She supported her family in all of their endeavors, and did whatever it took to make holidays and birthdays special. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 36 years, Fred of Port Charlotte; son, Bradley (Jessica) Brandon of Ludowici, GA and their children, Brooke and Autum; daughter Jamie (Christopher) Knight of Port Charlotte and their children, Devan, Chaise and Emily; brothers, Paul Kochur of St. Cloud, FL and Joseph Kochur of Dillonvale, Ohio; sister, Alice Quertermous of Kissimee, FL. A celebration of Lynda's life will be at 6:00 pm, Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Danny officiating.
