Luis H. Rivera-Colon

Luis H. Rivera-Colon, 69, of Port Charlotte passed away September 23, 2007. He was born May 5, 1938 in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Carmelo and Buenaventura (Colon) Rivera. Luis served in the Army from 1955 to 1956 and was the former Director of Civil Defense for Utuado, P.R. He was a member of New Life Int. Christian Center in Port Charlotte. Luis’s favorite past-time was fishing. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Carmen Rodriquez; daughters Gloria (Roger) Bray of Lake Ozark, MO, Mayra Rivera of Port Charlotte and Dayra (Geronimo) Garcia of Port Charlotte; sons, Luis Rivera and Sergio Rivera both of Port Charlotte; brothers, Hector of Ohio, Carlos of MO, Miguel and Eduardo both of Port Charlotte; sisters, Aida Martinez of North Port, Carmen Rivera of Ohio, Maritza Rivera of NH, Dalia Rivera of Puerto Rico and Sonia Rivera of Ohio; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
