Lucille Lillian Krausman-Gilchrist

Lucille Lillian (nee Bacon) Krausman-Gilchrist, 95, of Punta Gorda passed away July 27, 2010 at Life Care Center of Punta Gorda. She was the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Wharram) Bacon, born August 29, 1914 in Cadillac, MI. She was a beautician and electrologist; she loved to read poetry and have her friends in for coffee. Lucille moved to Punta Gorda from Plymouth, MI in 2006 to live with her daughter Lynne (Lee) Sanford; she attended Punta Gorda First Christian Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who was loved very much. Lucille will be greatly missed by her daughters, Lynne Sanford of Punta Gorda and Valerie (Charlie) Johnston of Wilmington, NC; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her dear and long-time friends, Goldie Greenberg, Paul and June Collins, and Sarah and Allen Krauss; and her friends at Ventura Lakes and Life Care Center of Punta Gorda. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Ralph Krausman, and her second husband, John Gilchrist. A memorial service is to be announced at a later date.
