Loyd L. Peden

Loyd L. Peden, 67, of Punta Gorda passed away July 30, 2006. He was born December 16, 1938 in Geneva, PA to Loyd and Ethel May (Floch) Peden. Loyd served in the US Air Force and worked as a cable supervisor for Sprint for 36 years. He moved from Fort Myers to Punta Gorda in 1959. Loyd was a member of First United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda. He loved to attend the German-American Club and enjoyed woodworking. Loyd will be greatly missed by his wife of 47 years, Hilde; daughters Sabrina (Wayne) Alexander and Michelle (Jimmy) Jameson both of Pagosa Springs, CO; sons Robert Peden of Arcadia, FL and Andy (Cindy) Peden of Pagosa Springs, CO; sister Sherry (Carl) Schwotzer and two granchildren Bryce and Alexa. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 3 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
