Lourie L. Henderson

Lourie L. Henderson, 78, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away February 19, 2017. He was the son of Ermon and Lula Mae Henderson, born October 5, 1938 in Boaz, AL. Lourie worked for General Motors for 38 years and moved to this area from Flint, MI. He was a member of the Shriners and the Punta Gorda Elks. Lourie enjoyed fishing, golf, bocce, karaoke and dancing with Charlotte at the Elks. He will be missed by his daughters, Laura and Sarah; son, Hugh; brother, Carl (Margie); and his friend and companion, Charlotte Pattie; 11 grandchildren; nephew, Phil and niece, Susan. Lourie was preceded in death by his parents; son, Les and brothers, Hula, Willie and Kellie. A memorial service will be held at the Elks Club, Punta Gorda on March 18, 2017.
