Lorrie A. Pearl

December 6, 1980 — December 25, 2018

Lorrie A. Pearl, 38, of Port Charlotte FL., passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Lorrie was the daughter of Russell and Sue Pearl born in Sarasota, December 6, 1980. Lorrie was a happy person who loved singing and dancing in theater and had been involved with it since she was 3 years old. She worked with Charlotte Players for 5 years and was in numerous shows including: Gypsy, Wizard of OZ and Wife Begins at 40. Lorrie said Theater is not what I do, its who I am. Outside of theater she loved to care for children and sometimes acting like one too, and especially loved the kids at the daycare she worked for. Lorrie wanted everyone to know that she fought so hard to get rid of this cancer and thanks her dear family and wonderful caring friends for all their love and support. As Lorrie would say It is what it is… Lorrie will be greatly missed by her parents, Russell and Sue; brother, Christopher; as well as her aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother, Russell Pearl Jr. A Celebration of Life for Lorrie will be held at 1st Baptist of Port Charlotte on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:00am. In lieu of cut flowers, the family requests live plants per Lorries preference or that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
